The Polar Express

Once we were in Salt Lake, Alan had to fly to Orlando for a conference. My mom and dad took us to The Polar Express while he was gone. We drove down to The Grand Canyon with Amy and her kids, Hunter and Wyatt. DJ met up with us in Vegas, and Kelli met us at the hotel. It was so much fun to be all together. My Mom spent hours sewing all the girls matching nightgowns, and got all the boys matching PJ's. We got to our hotel and had dinner, and boarded the Polar Express. It magically took us all the way to the North Pole. While we traveled there, they gave us hot chocolate and cookies and read the story "The Polar Express". At the North Pole we saw Santa and his elf loading up the sleigh. Then, as we went back to Arizona on the train, we sang Christmas songs and Santa himself actually road on the train with us.
The boys eating dinner. Ethan was so excited to have boys around!!
I'm not so great with Photoshop, and it was really dark when we took this picture, but this is waiting for the train. Grandma with all the kids.
Ellie, Maddie, Wyatt and Hyrum on the train.
We tried to get a good picture by the fireplace, but...I'm sure we'll all laugh about that later!
The 3 babies, Cammie, Hayden, and Annie. Annie was so tired, and cried most of the time we tried to take pictures. She was really good on the train other than that.
Sisters!

The next morning we drove to Flagstaff and had a little birthday party for Hyrum's birthday. I wish I had taken pictures of the music! My mom brought some chimes and all the kids played "Happy Birthday" on the Pipe Chimes, and then after cake and ice cream the kids played Christmas songs all night.
