Annie's First Haircut

Today I was looking back at pictures of when we first arrived in India. I am amazed at how much each of our kids have changed, especially Annie. I expected her to be the one to change the most because she came here as a baby, and is going to leave a toddler.
One thing that has changed about her is how much hair she has.

This is when we first arrived and were living in the Murcure Hotel.

Her hair still has curls even though I cut most of them off.

9th Invitational International Aquatics Meet

January 14th Ellie was invited to represent Indus International School at the swimming meet against 28 schools. She has been working really hard all year to make the swim team. This was the first meet of the season. On Monday she was a little sad because she was beat out by one other girl. On Tuesday she came home really excited because Indus found out that they got to take 2 girls her age instead of just 1. 

 She did really well, and proved herself to the coaches when she came in 2nd place out of 17 girls in the breast stroke. The coaches told her that next time she will take the gold. She was really excited!! We are so proud of her and can't wait for the rest of the season to see how she does. The coaches also mentioned that Maddie will probably be in the next meet also. She wasn't able to come to this meet because she was at Leadership Camp with her grade.
